Timmy B’s Three Rules to Spiritual Warfare…..

Since becoming an Intercessor I am partnering with God in some major battles in the heavenlies. Alot of times I am to pray for a friend/situation that is really under some spiritual attack. Sometimes I get a little brash and stupid and try to do it myself and find myself making the situation worse and finding myself coming under the same demonic attack that my friend is under. So in any warfare especially spiriutal warfare you have to have rules. Well, mine are a little unorthadox but they are still applicable.

See I was watching Star Trek TOS from my baby cage. I was raised that Kirk was the bomb, you couldn’t out logic Spock and McCoy was always trying to get his goat and Scotty always came through even when he didn’t have a few minutes. But, from this show comes two of my rules for spiritual warfare. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but made mighty through God says 2 Corinthains 10:3. Our weapons are the weapons of weakness and we are not always going to intervene in a particular situation.. So… here are my rules for spiritual warfare.

1. Pick your battles, pick the battleground. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in this. (I got this rule from studying natural warfare and reading about Lee’s mistake in not choosing the battleground at Gettysburg).

2. He who studies evil is studied by evil. Spock quote. I never study or give myself to too much study of the the spirit or principality. If I know God I will know my enemy and the Holy Spirit teaches all things.

3. Never beam down to the planet when staying on the ship is an option. I never want to intervene in a situation unless expressly told to by the Holy Spirit. I kind of look at the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit as Kirk, Spock, and McCoy and I’m the redshirt dude…  for example…

see the guy in the red shirt… I’m that guy.. i go when staying on the ship is still an option, things won’t turn out so good for me…

So, there you have it… TimmyB’s three rules for Spritual Warfare. I hope this will aid all of my readers in their intercessory prayer.
