I invite anyone to biblically blow torch this… It’s a revelation of Israel’s salvation according to Romans 11:28-33.
28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. 29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 30 For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, 31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
I was meditating on this passage while sitting in on a live feed from IHOP-KC and they were praying for the nation of Israel and I am endeavoring to write a line by line commentary on Romans 9-11 regarding God’s purposes for the nation of Israel and his plan to see all of Israel saved according to Romans 11:26-27. I received this as a straight up Holy Spirit download. Enjoy.
While meditating on the passage that says that the Jews are enemies of the Gospel for our sake but beloved of the father according to the election, I asked God this question then the rest of this is I received via 5 second Holy Spirit download.
Why are the Jews enemies of the gospel for our sake?
According to Paul, the Jews are the enemies of the gospel of Christ for our sake. While it was not the will of God for the Jews to reject Christ the principle that God works all things for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. While they rejected Christ outside of God’s free will, God in his omniscience had known this. So, he worked according to a perfect plan that would have all the nations come to his feet, that would humble the nation of Israel, and would grant him the pure and spotless bride that he so desires at the end of the age. If the Jewish people had accepted Christ in his first coming they would have preached it to the Gentiles and Christ would have been able to come back a lot sooner than even the apostles thought. But, by their rejection, they rescinded their responsibility of God and chose their own righteousness rather than that of the righteousness of God. But the Gentiles by receiving God’s mercy got the true message of God through the cross of Christ. But there was a reason for Christ going to the Jew first because they were his chosen first. The promises are to the Jew first and then to the Gentile. Now the Church (which is of every tribe, tongue, and nation) have the responsibility of maturity now that we have accepted Christ. The fullness of the maturity of the Church will be the ultimate event in history. Why? Because it will mean the Jewish people will face the ultimate act of humility at the end of the age. The Jews who have a zeal for God will be forced to go to a Gentile, a CHRISTIAN TO KNOW GOD! For the first time the Church will have the Jewish people at their mercy. Will we accept them out of mercy? Or will we as a church reject them? The maturity of the church in Christ will extend mercy to the Jewish people. Now only Christ can save their souls and extend mercy but it will be the Church, in bridal partnership with Christ that will extend the first mercies to the Jews leading them to repentance. Not only will they (the Jews) turn to Gentiles, they will turn to Messianic Jews. Messianic Jews, who were once called traitors will be faced and confronted by those who hated them and rejected them and denied them their rights. To extend mercy in that situation is far more humility than I think any human is capable of.
This is the only way that everyone will know the depths of God’s mercy. This will be the mercy that defines the maturity of a pure and spotless bride. The church will truly show a people just how much mercy they have received by extending mercy to a people that many thought had been cast off and rejected. It will be this act of mercy that the pride of the nation of Israel will truly be broken.
Oh the depths of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements and his ways past finding out! Romans 11:33
It will be through a victorious church that the greatest witness of Christ will be made manifest. What God was trying to communicate to the entire world will be displayed through the church in this moment. Just as Christ delights in mercy, so will his bride. Christ and his Bride will grant mercy to the nation of Israel and they will be acting in total and complete partnership. They will extend to the nation of Israel not only mercy, but the glory and everything they were promised as well. It will be the true litmus test for the heart of the Bride. While signs, wonders, and revival are breaking out; Will the church truly contain the nature and character of Christ in them by extending our hand to a people we had long thought cast off and rejected?
